Using simple schemes, some novel multiphase sinusoidal oscillators employing second-generation current conveyors (CCIIs) as the active devices are proposed. These oscillators provide n signals (n being even or odd) equally spaced in phase. Two practical CCII: RC multiphase oscillators are studied in detail. The circuits have a low component count and low-sensitivity performance, and are highly suitable for monolithic implementation.
