Withdrawal Statement The authors have withdrawn this manuscript because the reductivism and oversimplification of the tripartite framework connecting germ layer to therapeutic response. Intellectual humility, discussions with colleagues and further review of the primary literature, require acknowledging the constraints of that tripartite heuristic, and even though it may contribute to oncology pedagogy for learners, it does not firmly carry weight as a clinical organizing principle.
