Sesquipinsapols A and B, two sesquilignans isolated from the wood of Abies pinsapo have been characterized as 4′,4″,9″-trihydroxy-3,3′,3″-trimethoxy-4,8″-epoxy-8,8′-sesquineolignan-9,9′-olide and 4,4″,9,9′,9″-pentahydroxy-3,3′,3″-trimethoxy-7,4′-epoxy-8,5′:8′,8″-sesquineolignan, respectively, on the basis of their spectral data, mainly two-dimensional NMR analysis.
