SummaryIn this paper methods of electrodeposition of metallic multilayers by a program-controlled pulsed current are presented. A method of depositing microlayered coatings composed of ultrathin alternating microlayers of one and the same metal each having different structure, texture and phase composition is suggested. Results of the analysis of some physical, physico-mechanical and physical-chemical properties of microlayers are given.
