The paper presents intermediate results of the study of a possibility to use neuroimmune markers for diagnostics of cognitive impairments in middle-aged and elderly people. Reliable association of the neurocognitive testing results and serum levels of the neuroimmune markers is demonstrated. Similarity of neurocognitive impairment pathogenesis in case of various types of lesions of both infectious and non-infectious etiology is discussed.
