TAVI manages aortic stenosis in a single case with concurrent coronary and cerebral occlusion.
Why the study?
TAVI is an established treatment for symptomatic severe aortic valve stenosis in frail elderly patients, but cases with concomitant coronary and cerebral artery occlusion are rarely reported.

This case report describes the use of TAVI in a patient with severe aortic stenosis complicated by concomitant cerebral and coronary artery occlusion.
Aortic valve stenosis is a common valvular problem in the aging population. Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is a popular treatment alternative to surgical aortic valve replacement for frail elderly individuals with symptomatic severe aortic valve stenosis. There are multiple research reports documenting the effectiveness of TAVI in elderly, but here we present a case of TAVI for Aortic stenosis (AoS) with accompanying presence of coronary and cerebral occlusion.

Kumar et al. (2022) conducted a case report in Aortic stenosis with concomitant coronary and cerebral occlusion (n=1). Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) was evaluated. Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) was described in a single case of aortic stenosis with accompanying coronary and cerebral occlusion.
