This study aims to analyze the implementation of the child’s right to participate in Burundi in the domain of education. We focus on the idea from Mahatma Gandhi that ‘Whatever you for me without me is against me’ since Burundi, adopted the pedagogy of integration approach that is defined as being ‘student-centered’. We used the semi-structured interview with students from fundamental schools, post fundamental and university degrees combined with the documentary technique of school books to inquire who participated in the curricula programming. Results show that the Burundi education system does not accept the participation of students in the curricula programming since most of the students do not even know their right to participate.
