Three paramagnetic species have been observed in x-ray-irradiated single crystals of sodium thiosulfate. Two of the radicals have been identified as SO2− and SO2+ with principal g values of 2.0070, 2.0047, 2.0095 and 2.0070, 2.0105, 2.0305, respectively. The orientation of the SO2+ radical in the crystal lattice is discussed.
