As researchers’ needs change, librarians should be prepared to assess and adapt existing resources to meet those evolving needs. This article discusses the assessment and adaptation of an existing workshop series covering systematic reviews. Support for systematic reviews requires a specialized skillset and significant time commitment for librarians, and the number of librarians with the time and knowledge is being rapidly outpaced by researchers’ demands. Introductory materials, like workshops, can cover the bulk of the initial education, leaving librarians more time for specifics in individual consultations. The practical, replicable method discussed throughout this article helps librarians assess and adapt existing research resources to meet changing campus research needs.
