Micro-/nano-structured spherical intergrown LiMn 2 O 4 –LiNi 0.5 Mn 1.5 O 4 (LMO–LNMO I, LiNi 0.25 Mn 1.75 O 4 ) particles as a cathode material were synthesized by an impregnation method. The structural stability and electrical properties are superior to LMO, LNMO, and a mechanical mixture of them.
