Santos et al. (2023) conducted a letter in COVID-19. TXA-127 (synthetic angiotensin 1-7) vs. Placebo was evaluated. In a reply regarding a trial of TXA-127 in adults with COVID-19, authors noted no evidence of drug-induced hypertension, observing a mean systolic blood pressure decrease of 6 mm Hg compared to 3 mm Hg with placebo.
