One male and one female, both of whom had become infected in Zaire with Dipetalonema perstans, were successfully treated with mebendazole (Vermox), using 100 mg twice daily for 30 days. There were no side reactions. The female had previously been treated, unsuccessfully, with diethylcarbamazine.
