In the article entitled “Prolonged Survival of Mice with Acute Liver Failure with Transplantation of Monkey Hepatocytes Cultured with an Antiapoptotic Pentapeptide V5,” which appeared in the February 15, 2006 issue (Transplantation 81; 3: 427–437), the author name Alejandro Soto Gutierrez appeared incorrectly. The correct name is Alejandro Soto-Gutierrez. January 15, 2006 issue: the Special Feature “Impact of Donor Age and Year of Transplantation on Graft and Patient Survival Following Liver Transplantation for Hepatitis C Virus” was an ELTR (European Liver Transplant Registry) study and Rene Adam of Centre Hepato Biliare, Paul Brousse Hospital, France, was one of the authors. Unfortunately this important information was not included in the final manuscript submitted by the authors nor was it corrected at proof stage. Our article “Beneficial Effects of the Bioflavonoids Curcumin and Quercetin on Early Function in Cadaveric Renal Transplantation: A Randomized Placebo Controlled Trial” [MS #TPA 2005-0026] was published in the December 15th 2005 issue. This study was funded by Roche, a fact that was included in the original manuscript but inadvertently omitted at the time of the final online submission. We would like to correct this omission.
