Mapping the way to process improvement

Process mapping is a method of visually defining exactly what each and every employee is responsible for, their outputs and inputs, and the operating parameters associated with them, allowing companies to measure their performance and improve their efficiency. The author discusses a software solution that does just that. It is based on Visio, a common Microsoft program and is called Process Navigator. It is fully integral with Microsoft Office System.
