The development of highly segmented neutrino detectors with about 5–6 million cubic scintillator components imposes strict requirements on key parameters such as light yield, optical crosstalk, and geometric precision. This paper presents the dependence of the light yield and optical crosstalk on the particle interaction position in the scintillator cube. The results demonstrate the high performance and reliability of the cubic scintillator design.
