Newly established bathymetric calculation regression equations together with algorithms developed by Benny and Dawson and by Stove were examined, compared and evaluated through their performance in mapping Derwentwater. The regression and Benny and Dawson algorithms were found to be successful, though this may be due to the integration of the local conditions into their structure.
