A radioxenon monitoring campaign was conducted in Atlanta, Georgia using a SAUNA QUBE system to characterize urban background signatures relevant to Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty verification. Distinct isotopic and temporal patterns were observed for 133 Xe and 131m Xe. Multi-day 133 Xe plumes were consistent with long-range atmospheric transport from distant reactor sources, whereas isolated short-duration 131m Xe detections indicated localized contributions likely associated with 131 I medical isotope use. These measurements provide novel baseline data for a major urban environment lacking nearby nuclear facilities and improve the ability to distinguish routine civilian emissions from treaty-relevant events.
