Smart College Guide is an Android-based application designed to provide centralized access to important college information and basic campus navigation support. New students, visitors, and other users often depend on notice boards, printed documents, staff members, or manual inquiries to obtain information about departments, laboratories, library services, facilities, and administrative contacts. This project proposes a simple mobile solution that organizes such information in one application. The system is developed using Java and XML in Android Studio, with SQLite used for local data storage and SharedPreferences used for maintaining selected application preferences and session-related information. The application provides structured college information through an easy-to-use interface and reduces the need for repeated manual inquiries. The proposed system can be extended in the future with GPS-based navigation, online notices, push notifications, and cloud synchronization.
