Special grain boundaries in centrosymmetric cubic crystals have been classified on the basis of the symmetrical properties of flat lattices, which are the crystallographic planes of the crystals. Possible types of flat cells of the crystal planes have been indicated based on the half-integer Wyckoff positions for the primitive cubic, fcc, and bcc lattices. The regularities of the variations in the atomic structure and elemental composition of grain boundaries under alternation of atomic planes in crystals with cells of complex elemental composition have been established .
