Triphleps australis China, 1926 is synonymised with Anthocoris tantillus Motschulsky, 1863 (both now in Orius Wolff) and additional taxonomic and distributional data are provided for O. tantillus and O. armatus Gross, 1954. O. heterorioides sp. n. and O. chadwicki sp. n. are described. The 4 species are keyed and their placements within the genus are discussed.
