Twenty-one species of Orius Wolff occur in the Western Hemisphere. All species are keyed, described, and illustrated. New species are: alcides (Peru), candiope (Iowa), championi (Colombia), diespeter (British Columbia), euryale (Mexico), florentiae (Colombia to Bolivia), harpocrates (California), ixionides (Honduras) jasiones (Honduras), lesliae (Peru), pele (Colombia), and thyestes (Mexico, Colombia).
