This paper presents a quad-band multiplexer designed and implemented based on a new microstrip structure. It is operating at simulated resonance frequencies of 2.4 GHz, 3.2 GHz, 3.8 GHz, and 4.6 GHz, which makes it suitable for advanced communication systems in satellites and multi-service 5G telecommunications. The overall size of proposed multiplexer is 0.108 λ g 2 and it designed on RT/Duroid 6002 substrate. The multiplexer demonstrates exceptional performance, with simulated insertion losses of 0.3 dB, 0.4 dB, 0.5 dB, and 0.5 dB at the 1st-4th channels respectively. The group delays within the 1st-4th channels are 4 ns, 2.8 ns, 2.1 ns, and 2.6 ns respectively. The fabricated multiplexer is measured to verify the simulation results. This planar multiplexer supports a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, radar systems, and the Internet of Things, due to its high efficiency and suitable tuned operating frequencies.
