An automatic measuring device for the measurement of adsorption equilibria of binary gas or vapor mixtures has been developed. This new instrument has been tested by measuring the adsorption equilibria of water and ethanol vapor as well as of two mixtures of these components on a microporous activated carbon fiber. In this paper, the measuring method and the new measuring instrument are presented, the experiments performed and the results obtained are described and discussed.
