CARCINOID tumors of the stomach are rare. To our knowledge, there are 93 cases reported in the literature before 1970.1Numerous gastric carcinoids are more unusual, with nine reports before 1971.2,3There have been four cases of pernicious anemia associated with gastric carcinoid mentioned in the English literature,1,2,4,5one of which concerned a patient with seven tumors in his stomach.2We treated a patient with pernicious anemia and gastric carcinoid. This report also represents the second case of numerous (four) tumors in a patient with pernicious anemia.
