Partial coverage adhesively retained all-ceramic restorations are gaining considerable popularity in contemporary dental practice. An electronic search of the literature was conducted to evaluate the clinical performance of posterior CEREC IPS e.max partial-coverage restorations. The literature search initially identified 502 studies. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, seven articles were selected for review. The findings suggest that the short-to medium-term clinical performance of IPS e.max partial-coverage restorations fabricated using a chairside CEREC workflow can offer a reliable and effective option for restoring the posterior dentition. CPD/Clinical Relevance: Partial coverage, CAD/CAM-fabricated, adhesively bonded all-ceramic restorations are increasingly used in modern dentistry. Clinicians should be familiar with the supporting evidence to guide appropriate case selection and ensure effective clinical technique.
