Ghana’s Efforts and Plastic Waste Management Strategies

In Ghana, about more than one million tonnes of plastic waste are generated annually . In trying to address the growing plastic waste pollution in the country, Ghana has made some efforts and strides, although not enough, over the past 30 years through the development of a number of Government initiatives, laws, and policies to safeguard the environment for sustainable development.
