This project reassesses the outer walls of a water tower tank (in France) using finite element analysis. The study examines tensile forces in the horizontal reinforcement rings under hydrostatic pressure, thermal gradients and other design loads. Ultimate and serviceability checks show that the vertical wall requires strengthening, while the inclined wall meets the assessed requirements.
