The differences in power response and long-duration support across storage units complicate capacity configuration for both supply reliability and renewable energy utilization. This paper proposes a quantum-inspired capacity configuration method for hybrid electro-hydrogen storage in islanded energy systems. First, a dual-pressure hydrogen storage structure is designed to mitigate short-term fluctuations and enable long-term energy shifting. Second, a dynamic quantum-threshold energy management strategy (DQT-EMS) is developed to coordinate the battery and dual-pressure hydrogen storage. Finally, a multi-objective optimization model based on year-scale operational simulation is solved using a Quantum multi-objective parrot optimization (QMOPO) to generate Pareto fronts. Case studies show that the proposed method enhances short-term balancing and seasonal hydrogen-based energy shifting while increasing renewable energy utilization to 99.20%. The hypervolume achieved by QMOPO is 6.70% higher than that of MOPSO. Moreover, DQT-EMS reduces electrolyzer and fuel cell start-stop frequencies by 5.94% and 26.13%, respectively, significantly enhancing operational continuity and smoothness.
