Secondary metabolites of the Northwest Pacific derived Streptomyces olivaceus HDN23-1316

Three new compounds including two α -pyrone derivatives olivapyrone A–B ( 1 – 2 ), one 1,4-benzothiazine derivative olivabenzothiazine A ( 3 ), and one new natural product naphthoquinone derivative olivanaphthoquinone A ( 4 ) were isolated and identified from the culture extract of Streptomyces olivaceus HDN23-1316, a marine actinomycete obtained from the deep-sea sediment sample collected from the Northwest Pacific. Their structures and the relative E / Z configurations of the polyene chains were assigned based on spectroscopic analyses and calculated 13 C NMR chemical shift data. Compound 3 exhibited moderate DPPH radical scavenging activity with an IC 50 value of 50.81 μM, while 4 showed 54.17% inhibition of NLRP3-mediated IL-1β secretion at a concentration of 5 μM.
