The article explores the synchronization problem of complex-valued switching neural networks, based on two discontinuous controllers respectively, considering parameter uncertainties, at the fixed and preassigned time. Considerations are more comprehensive and synchronization is achieved in a simple way. First, two more concise and effective controllers containing only two terms are used, which fully takes into account the parameter uncertainties and time delay of neural networks. Second, the corresponding Lyapunov function is not complicated. By using inequality scaling, the neural networks can achieve synchronization. In addition, by utilizing the sign function and the absolute-like norm on the complex domain, the non-separation method is used, which reduce the computational complexity and improve the processing efficiency than dividing it into two parts. Ultimately, numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
