In this paper, we use interpolative Boyd–Wong and Matkowski contractions to construct fixed point theorems in the context of complete quasi-partial b -metric spaces. Furthermore, a common fixed point theorem for a pair of mappings is shown using the interpolative Boyd–Wong contraction. The observed results expand and improve on various existing findings from the literature. In addition, examples are supplied to demonstrate the efficiency of the stated theorems, as well as an application to an integral problem.
