Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy, yet the factors sustaining its growth often go overlooked. This study examines shifts in major cropped areas over recent years, highlighting how farmers in the observed region have increased profitability by transitioning toward cash crops. To evaluate these trends, the research applies two primary methods: the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of cropped area. Spatial mapping and statistical calculations were conduct using GIS software. Growth rate is an integral part of agricultural studies and is use to determine future agricultural policies. Compound annual growth rate (CAGR) is a business and agricultural term for the geometric progression ratio that provides a constant rate of return over the period.
