Esters play a key role in organic chemistry due to their versatility in numerous chemical reactions and their broad applications across various fields, such as food flavoring, fragrances, cosmetics, agrochemicals, etc. A metal‐free esterification protocol has been developed employing eosin Y as an organophotocatalyst under normal conditions. This methodology offers a sustainable and environmentally benign alternative for ester synthesis, highlighting the catalytic versatility of eosin Y in photochemical transformations. When exposed to visible‐light, eosin Y becomes active, facilitating the desired esterification of various thioesters. A wide range of alcohols and phenols are also compatible, providing access to diverse ester building blocks with potential pharmaceutical applications.
