Swirling flows through porous media with thermal analysis find applications in various fields where efficient heat transfer and fluid dynamics play crucial roles. Some notable applications include combustion chambers, gas turbines, HVAC systems, biomedical devices, etc. The main focus of the current research is to investigate the thermal behavior of a Jeffrey fluid flowing through porous layer due to a spiraling disk. A similarity reduction scheme is used to transform the differential system involving partial derivatives to a differential system involving only ordinary derivatives. The solution of the transformed mathematical model is then approximated numerically using the finite difference implicit approach. The investigation synopses that radial and azimuthal velocities of the Jeffrey fluid diminish with the augmentations of spiraling parameter (0≤U≤5), spiral angle (0≤ϕ°≤90), and porous layer parameter (0≤ω≤2.5). Nusselt number increases with the impressions of Biot number (−0.2≤γ≤0.4) and spiraling parameter.
