Hall and ion slip effects on 3D axisymmetric flow of trihybrid nanofluid past an infinite radially stretching and convectively heated disk in Darcy–Forchheimer medium subject to Brownian motion, thermophoresis, thermal radiation, viscous dissipation, Newtonian heating, Cattaneo–Christov heat and mass flux, and Arrhenius activation energy have been investigated in the present study. Such a study finds its importance in the diversified areas including building ventilation, temperature control and efficiency improvement of photovoltaic modules, modern electromagnetic materials processing, ultracooling of modern electronic devices, boiling, biomedicine, and latent heat thermal energy storage systems. Finite element method has been implemented to solve the thermosolutal governing equations. The key findings are that porosity parameter slows down the motion of trihybrid nanofluid; increase in Hall parameter enhances heat transmission and entropy generation effectively; and rise in Schmidt number peters out entropy generation. The innovativeness of the present study and its contributions as conclusions of the findings are that introduction of high porosity porous medium yields controlled motion of trihybrid nanofluid; consideration of Hall effect favors ultracooling in the sundry thermal systems; fixing low mass transfer yields low entropy generation thereby increasing available energy of thermal systems and therefore enhancing their efficiencies.
