The Cover Feature shows that 2,6-pyridylcarboxamide foldamers adopt a stable helical conformation in a diverse range of organic solvent and water mixtures including aromatic, chlorinated and polar protic solvents (e.g., methanol/water mixtures). The work presented in the Research Article by A. A. L. Michalchuk, S. J. Pike and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/chem.71097) will be highly important for aiding the future design and operation of functional foldamers, including water-compatible systems.
