BACKGROUND: To assess continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data corresponding to blood glucose (BG) values used for impending non-severe (NS) hypoglycemia management in people living with type 1 diabetes (PwTID). METHODS: ) were compared with BG to assess their variances and mean absolute relative differences (MARDs). RESULTS: < 0.001). MARDs were higher with lower BG values. Despite these differences, we did not observe rebound hyperglycemia (BG > 180 mg/dL; 10 mmol/L). CONCLUSION: When using CGM, PwTID may need to treat or prevent NS hypoglycemia at a higher threshold than 72 mg/dL (4.0 mmol/L) and 80 mg/dL (4.5 mmol/L), respectively.
