Rapid advances in manufacturing have encouraged the adoption of forecasting technologies and integrated enterprise platforms, including SAP Production Planning (SAP PP), to streamline operations, reduce waste, and strengthen product quality. This paper examines how SAP PP, combined with predictive analytics, can support more effective production scheduling in contemporary manufacturing environments. Predictive models are applied to anticipate customer demand, allocate resources efficiently, and guide planning decisions. An implementation example illustrates how integrating SAP PP with analytical tools can improve stock control, increase manufacturing productivity, and lower operating costs. The findings emphasize the value of predictive planning within Industry 4.0 by enabling manufacturers to respond to changing conditions through decisions grounded in data. This approach strengthens operational performance and helps businesses maintain a competitive position in an evolving industrial landscape.
