Psychosocial factors significantly influence transplant outcomes, yet comprehensive, multidimensional, and systematically validated approaches to psychosocial assessment of transplant candidates remain limited in Turkish clinical settings. This study adapted the Stanford Integrated Psychosocial Assessment for Transplantation into Turkish (SIPAT-TR) and evaluated its psychometric properties among 110 candidates. Results demonstrated good internal consistency (α = .864) and excellent inter-rater reliability (ICC = .981). Candidates deferred or rejected had significantly higher scores. The logistic model showed high predictive accuracy (90.9%), while ROC analysis revealed an AUC of .974, with 97% sensitivity and 87% specificity at a 30.5 cutoff score. SIPAT-TR is a reliable tool for social workers and clinical teams to identify high-risk candidates, supporting evidence-based decision-making and enhancing psychosocial care in Turkish transplant settings.
