We thank Jabbar and Fatima, and Mo et al., for their thoughtful comments on our study examining predictors of histological remission following oral vancomycin therapy (OVT) in children with ulcerative colitis (UC) exhibiting features of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC)-associated colitis. We appreciate the opportunity to further discuss the interpretation, limitations, and future directions arising from our findings. Our study identified proximally dominant inflammation and an OVT duration ≥4 months as predictors of pan-colonic histological remission in this cohort of children with PSC-associated UC [1].
