This study reports the design and synthesis of a novel amide‐functionalized monofunctional benzoxazine (TaPBA) and its incorporation into epoxy resin to develop high‐performance thermosetting networks with significantly enhanced overall properties. The structure of TaPBA was proved by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT‐IR) and proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance ( 1 H NMR). The curing behavior of EP‐TaPBAresins wereanalysed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and FT‐IR, revealing that TaPBA played a positive role in reducing the curing temperature of EP‐TaPBA resins. Meanwhile, the enlarged free volume within the crosslinked polymer network effectively suppressed dielectric polarization, resulting in reduced dielectric constant and dielectric loss. However, the addition of TaPBA also reduced the initial decomposition temperatures ( T 5% and T 10% ) and glass transition temperature ( T g ) of EP‐TaPBA resins. In conclusion, this research conducted a detailed analysis on the curing behavior, thermal stability and dielectric properties of TaPBA‐modified epoxy resins, which has certain reference value for related work.
