The development of technology has increasingly impacted our daily lives. In the field of education, the reality is no different. Bringing technology in its numerous forms into the classroom has become an increasingly common practice, given the current audience's technological savvy, as well as the ease and effectiveness this resource offers in the teaching-learning process. This work aims to discuss the challenges and possibilities of using multimedia resources in Geography teaching. To this end, a bibliographic and documentary research was conducted using documents, articles, and books written by authors who discuss the subject matter of the study. It was concluded that the use of technologies during Geography classes can positively impact teaching, facilitating the understanding of the content to be covered, especially through a more attractive and playful approach for the student. Furthermore, the integration of these technologies requires a complex process of investment in infrastructure, teacher training, and a paradigm shift to the transition from traditional teaching to teaching that includes technology as a learning tool.
