While conventional radar systems are primarily capable of detecting target presence, directly visualizing the spatial morphology and relative positional relationships of targets on a Plan Position Indicator (PPI) to replicate the real three-dimensional (3D) world remains a critical objective. Currently, research on stereoscopic display for radar terminal is limited. Drawing upon optical principles, this study proposes a multi-viewpoint PPI generation model based on 3D reconstruction. Derived from the radar echo model, this approach constructs stereoscopic PPIs utilizing differential parallax information. To mitigate the high computational load on the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) with the sequential rasterization of PPIs, a de-redundant virtual texture rendering acceleration method is introduced. Through the improvement, the PPI refresh rate reaches 30 frames per second (fps). Furthermore, multiple 3D PPIs are composited according to specific monitor parameters, enabling the out-of-screen visualization of radar echoes. This research successfully explores and simulates stereoscopic display for radar terminals, providing theoretical support for the field and facilitating a functional transition from traditional 3D to stereoscopic visualization, and offering a viable and effective solution.
