Twelve binary star systems with angular separations between 0'.'049 and 0'.'290 have been resolved. The systems Sco, Her, and p Cep were found to have previously unknown stellar companions; and p Cep, p Per, and r Per show features at the limit of resolution which may be due to circumstellar material. The masses of seven stars in four binary systems have been calculated, and the results are generally consistent with the empfrical mass-luminosity relation. headings: binary stars - mass-luminosity relation
