The author reports on the ultrastructure of multiform glioblastoma, in which he found crystal and noncrystal bodies 130 to 260 mμ. The crystal bodies consist of dark and bright stripes recurring at intervals of about 75 Å enveloped with a simple membrane. Considering the structure of the crystals and data from the literature, the author accepts their protein character. Noncrystal particles resemble the electron-microscopic shape of mycoplasm. The nature and the origin of the crystal and noncrystal particles remain unclear.
