In this paper, we study a free boundary problem for a reaction-diffusion system modeling the growth of a triple-layered tumor. First, we establish the global existence of a flat solution by employing an approximation method and the Schauder fixed point theorem. Then, we investigate the existence of flat stationary solutions in various parameter regimes of the problem.
