The work presents the first results of U–Pb dating of detrital zircons from sandstones of the Egilknyveem Formation, which occurs in the basement of post-collision Tytylveem volcanic depression. The U–Pb age of the youngest population of detrital zircons is 140.7 ± 2.2 Ma. The young zircon populations (190–130 Ma) in the Late Jurassic–Early Cretaceous sandstones are likely related to the activity of a supra-subduction magmatic belt of the southern margin of the Chukotka microcontinent.
