This paper aims to determine the weighting coefficients of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to provide the convergence to the minimum of the cost function in the time-optimal spacecraft reorientation problem. The optimization problem is formulated to minimize the total angular maneuver time, taking into account the constraints on the angular momentum of each reaction wheel and their control torque and given boundary conditions at interval ends. The weighting coefficients of the PSO were selected using the Monte Carlo approach and its influence on the optimization result has been analyzed.
