This article explores a theology of geragogical transformation, probing how Christian belief gives meaning to older adult learning (geragogy). It examines Nicodemus’ learning experience with Jesus as a case study to discover issues pertaining to an older adult's receptivity to learn alongside a trusted teacher (John 3:1–15, 7:45–52, and 19:38–42). Implications suggest that effective instructors of older adult learners can provide respect and belonging, address unique barriers, stimulate cognitive growth, and foster positive relationships.
