Customized thermoplastic elastomer development creates value only when a successful laboratory formulation can be reproduced at manufacturing scale and sustained through future batches. The transition is difficult because formulation variables interact with raw-material variation, compounding conditions, moisture, thermal history, pellet consistency, customer equipment, part geometry, quality-control methods and regulatory documentation. This paper presents a scale-up and quality framework for customized TPE supply using Dongguan Renergy Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. as an industrial case context. Public company materials describe a portfolio spanning TPE families, PVC, TPU and engineering plastics together with customized formulation, technical support, rapid prototyping, production delivery and quality-control services. Building on these capabilities and the polymer-processing literature, the paper proposes a Formulate-Validate-Scale-Assure (FVSA) loop. The framework treats formulation, prototype validation, manufacturing scale-up, process monitoring, batch traceability and corrective action as one continuous system rather than separate departments. The paper also considers sustainability, recycled-content qualification, digital process monitoring and international B2B documentation. No proprietary formulations or plant-performance claims are introduced. The main conclusion is that customized materials become commercially defensible when the supplier can preserve the approved property-process relationship through documented scale-up, controlled changes and traceable quality evidence.
